This is the other side of the street on Water Avenue. You can see the St James hotel with the ornate iron balconies on the right end of the block. This side of the street was not damaged as bad. The brick building (with the bright colored windows) to the left of the hotel is the facade of the historic building, behind the facade the building is new. This building houses a small shop space facing onto the street, while the rear of the building holds the kitchen and support service areas for the adjacent hotel.
