Now let's take a look inside the hotel. This is the front desk of the hotel. After the hotel closed in1893 the building was used for many different purposes, including a feed store and most recently a tire recapping factory. The entire first floor of the main building was gutted to make room for the new businesses, and a concrete floor was installed. The rear wings of the hotel were torn down. Everything now on the first floor was reconstructed in 1997.
